Bonnie Marie Mitchell

Bonnie Marie Mitchell, age 99, of Clarksville, OH, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2026 in Clarksville, OH.

She was born April 17, 1927 in Ashland, KY, daughter of the late Henry & Ida (Williams) Daniels. She married Earl James Mitchell who passed away April 6, 1993.

She was a devoted member of Sligo Baptist Church, where, in times past she enjoyed working in the nursery and especially enjoyed her time of serving and fellowship with the Willing Workers (housekeepers) of the Church . She was the Treasurer of the Willing Workers for more than 20 years. Bonnie was masterful at making people laugh. Everybody enjoyed her since of humor.

Bonnie loved flowers and spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving are three sons-Cecil (Jean) Mitchell of Careytown, OH, Terry (Kris) Mitchell of Lima, OH and Timothy (Jodi) Mitchell of Clarksville, OH; her daughter-in-law, Debbie Mitchell of Leesburg, OH; 14 Grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; & 11 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by her son, Jim Mitchell; 9 brothers & 6 sisters.

Visitation will be held, Monday, August 31, 2026 from 11:00am - 1:00pm. Services will begin at 1:00pm with Pastor Jack Creditt officiating at Sligo Baptist Church, 249 S Beechgrove Rd, Wilmington, OH 45177.

Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, OH.
