Robert James "Bob" Coldren,
age 87, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Friday morning, July 8, 2011 at his residence in Wilmington, Ohio. Around town, in the neighborhood and especially at Frisch's, he was known as "Grandpa".
He was born June 11, 1924 in Leavenworth, KS, son of the late Harry I. & Lena M. (Zeugin) Coldren. He married on July 26, 1980 in San Bernardino, CA to Nancy McPherson Johnson, who survives.
Bob worked as an Electrician Supervisor for Southern California Edison Power Generating Plant.
He was a member of the FOE #1224 Wilmington Eagles and former member & past president of the Eagles Lodge FOE #506 in San Bernardino, CA
In addition to his wife, other surviving family members are his 2 Sons- James Coldren of Phoenix, AZ, & Neil (Jolyn) Creager, San Bernardino, CA; Daughter- Anita (Mike) Johnson, Wilmington; 4 Grandchildren- Robby, April, Timothy, & Michael; & 4 Great-Grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Coldren was preceded in death by his 4 brothers-Oz, Ralph, Dick, & Don.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington. Mr. John Garrett, a good family friend, officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 2:00 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home.
