Beverly B Sanders

  Beverly Bailey Sanders, 
Age 90, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, March 7, 2024 at home.  
 
 She was born October 6, 1933 in Lima, Ohio, daughter of the late James Cecil & Delma (Chapman) Bailey.
Beverly was a member of the Wilmington United Methodist Church, Wilmington Garden Club, Wilmington Conversation Club, The Scandanavian Readers of Cincinnati, and was an Outstanding Woman of Clinton County in 2017.  A 1951 Lima Central High School Graduate, A 1955 Ohio State University BS Graduate, and a 1961 University of Colorado MA Graduate, Bev spent her life in education.  She had taught 1st and 2nd grades at all of the county schools but mostly at East Clinton & Wilmington City Schools retiring after 25 years of service to our community.
 Surviving are her 3 children- Mark D Sanders of Wilmington, OH,  Melody (Christopher) Reighley of Port Aransas, TX, & Matthew J. Sanders, D.O. of Springboro, OH; Grandchildren- Connor Reighley, & Delaney Reighley.

 In addition to her parents,  Beverly was preceded in death by her husband- Donald Robert Sanders; and brothers- William Bailey & James Bailey.

Funeral Services will be held  1:30 PM, Monday, March 11, 2024 at the Wilmington United Methodist Church,  50 East Locust Street, Wilmington  with Pastor Scott Miller & Pastor Josh Dixon officiating.  Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, Ohio.
 
 Friends will be received from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM, Sunday, March 10, at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, 97 West Locust Street, Wilmington, Ohio.
