Barbara Lee Sipe

She was born September 4, 1936 in Wilmington, OH, daughter of the late Woodrow and Ruth (Humphrey) Jordan. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, David T. Sipe whom she married Oct. 16, 1965 in Germany.
Barbara was a longtime member of the Martinsville UMC and her favorite song was "He Touched Me". She retired from Clinton Memorial Hospital after 18 years on the second floor as a nursing assistant, all on the night shift. Barbara loved to crochet, knit, quilt, garden and play piano.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Mark (Kathy) Sipe, daughter, Alice C. (Jon) Amburgey, both families of Cincinnati. Also surviving is step-son, David T. (Sherlee) Sipe, II of Huffman, TX, 3 grandsons, Justin Thacher Sipe, Zachary (Michelle) Sipe, Garrett (Shelbie) Sipe and several Great-Grandchildren. Other survivors include a brother, Ronald Jordan, 3 sisters, Sue (Gary) Straight, Betty Weiss and Wilma Ford and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by a sister Evelyn Lorraine Jordan.
Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Monday, June 17, 2024 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Matt Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in the Clinton County Memory Gardens, Wilmington, Ohio.
Friends will be received at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, Ohio Monday, June 17, 2024, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.
