Annette E. Rhoads

Annette E. Rhoads, age 64, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away on Friday morning, May 1, 2026 at Crestwood Ridge Nursing Home in Hillsboro.

She was born August 29, 1961 in Hillsboro, Ohio, daughter of the late Franklin Eugene and Georgia June (Day) Rhoads.

Annette loved coloring books, country music, and the Price is Right. She always remembered everyone's birthdays and loved celebrating hers.

Surviving are her brother, John (DuAnn) Rhoads of Lynchburg; sister, Connie Goolsby of New Vienna; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents,Annette was preceded in death by her two half-brothers: Michael McGovney and Elwood McGovney; and a brother-in-law, Jimmy Goolsby.

Funeral Services will be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, 138 E. Main St., Friday, May 8, 2026 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Dan Mayo officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 pm until the time of the services.
