66, of Blanchester, Ohio, passed away Friday morning March 22, 2024 at the Anderson Hospice of Cincinnati after a hard long fight battling cancer.
He was born May 22, 1957 in Covington, Kentucky, son of Glen & Juanita (Barnett) Baker, of Blanchester. He attended Little Miami High School.
Allan was a great man with many talents and a proud owner of many businesses especially Cricket Engines. He loved building mean hot rod engines. It was his pride and joy and now his legacy. Allan was a very knowledgeable man. He worked extremely hard to provide for his family. He was the true definition of a Hero. He was very inspirational and had a handsome smile. He loved to tell his kids and grand kids ghost stories and shared his love of hot rods.
Surviving are his wife- Becky Baker, whom he married on March 1, 2023 and went with for over 19 years, his 4 daughters- Lisa Baker-Sampson, Midland, Delilah (Douglas) Ross, Blanchester, Kristy (Mike) Baker of Midland, & Tiffany (Brian) Baker, Midland; step-sons- Joseph (Wendy) Downing & Christopher (Kylie) Parrish, both of Washington Court House, OH; step-daughter- Erica Downing, of MO; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 3 brothers- Dean (Pat) Baker, Hillsboro, Farril (Vicki) Baker, Blanchester, & Glen (Sheila) Baker, Blanchester; many nieces & nephews; dog- Sissy; cat- Cole; and the children's mothers- Cheryl Tipton and Karen Masterson.
Allan was preceded in death by his grandson- Douglas Wayne Ross III; and 2 special friends- Richard Farquhar & Mike Lynn.
Funeral Services will be held 12 Noon, Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with Mike Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Blanchester, Ohio.
Friends will be received from 6-8 PM Wednesday, March 27 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home.
