The present location of the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home has been in continuous operation since well before 1900. The funeral home has been remodeled and redecorated so that it has modern and up-to-date furnishings, but still retains its' homelike charm. The Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home was built in 1936 as a funeral home and has been serving Highland County since 1945. Recent Redecorating has added to the beauty of the Cape cod Architecture. The Edgington Funeral Home is an integral part of the community, with the current location having been a funeral establishment since the early 1920's. Recent remodeling and upgrades have made it an attractive "small town" funeral home. Please take the time to view our Display room and Chapel.

Edgington Funeral Homes are owned by Craig and Sonya Edgington. Craig has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1985 and was involved in the family business many years prior to start. Among others, Craig and Sonya are helped at the funeral homes by Craig's father, Donald E. Edgington, a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1967, and Joy I. Fisher, a licensed funeral director since 1951. Other mortuary attendants include Charles "Lou" West, Doris Edgington, James M. Fisher, Burdette Quigley, Mary Jean Patton, Franklin "Doodle" Stivers, William Case, Marlin "Pete" Little, Eugene "Bud" Stetham, and Eric Henry. The staff at Edgington Funeral Homes are highly trained and ready to serve in a manner that is both caring and competent.
