He was born in Bellfast, Ohio , Son of the late Bryce Ferguson and the late Opal Evadna Kelley Ferguson.

He was a former member of the Sugartree Ridge United Methodist Church, had a long term envolvement with the Hillsboro Little League, and was a supporter of the Highland County Fair .

During Kelley's workiing years he started out as a dairy farmer and then opened a barber shop at the Parker Hotel in Hillsboro. After working as a barber for several years he founded Ferguson Realty Company and then became a real estate developer until his death. .

Surviving are his wife, Janice Ferguson, whom he married July 22, 1956, and four children, Mick (Jeannie) Ferguson, Florida, Cheri (Monty) Brofft, of Florida, Rod (Judy) Ferguson, Hillsboro, and Darrin (Rhonda ) Ferguson, of Florida. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, Christopher, Brandy, Brian, Lauren, R.J., Mallori, and Molly, and 1 sister, Amy (Bob) Chambers of Hillsboro .

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents .

Friends will be received 5:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, December 26 at the Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, Ohio.

Services will be held at the Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 27, 2008 with Wayne Ferguson providing words of comfort.

Interment will follow in the New Market Baptist Cemetery.
